Villa Alice

In the heart of Fabbrica, a small and charming medieval village, built by the will of an ancient Florentine family, we find Villa Alice, an elegant Liberty-style house dating back to the nineteenth century. The villa is located on the top of the small village with a beautiful view of the surrounding rolling hills. The villa has been wisely and recently renovated to give its guests maximum comfort and modernity yet maintaining the typical architecture of the years in which it was built.
The property is located in the municipality of Peccioli (8 km), which this year won the important qualification of "Borgo dei Borghi 2024", (most beautiful village in Italy).
The starred chef Cannavacciuolo has opened a restaurant called "Laqua Vineyard", located in the wine city, Terricciola (just 15 km away).

Villa Alice is surrounded by a lovely garden entirely paved in stone and arranged on terraces overlooking the wonderful landscape of the Tuscan countryside. The outdoor area is extremely well-kept and expertly arranged to ensure the privacy of the guests. It has two pergolas, one of which is furnished with a table and chairs for tasty lunches or dinners outdoors and one used as an outdoor living room with sofas and armchairs.
A brick staircase leads to the swimming pool area (12m x 4m with a fixed depth of 1.30m and area with hydromassage, open from 01 May to 30 October, with salt water) complete with solarium equipped with sun beds and umbrellas and with a gazebo equipped with outdoor furniture and seats. From the swimming pool and the garden you can enjoy a spectacular scenery, rich in vineyards and hills that run up to the beautiful city of Volterra.
Villa Alice is complete with barbecue, table tennis, bowling green, and a children's play area.

Interior Description

INDOORS
Villa Alice can comfortably accommodate up to 13 guests in a space of about 400 square meters divided into two levels.
From the main entrance you enter the atrium that connects you to the rooms on the ground floor. Here we find the built-in kitchen, well equipped with direct access to the external pergola; the large dining room with a beautiful crystal table; the living room with fireplace, sofas, armchairs, satellite TV and direct access to the garden, the study and the double bedroom (which can be converted into a single double bed) with private bathroom with shower.
The first floor is reached by an internal stone and cast iron staircase and consists of a corridor leading to the sleeping area consisting of: 1 suite with canopy bed, 1 double bedroom and 2 double bedrooms that can be converted into doubles. Two bathrooms complete the floor, one with a shower and one with both a shower and a bathtub. In three of the rooms there is the possibility to add a single bed.
Villa Alice is complete with free wi-fi connection, air conditioning and heating (both on consumption). High chair and cot on request. Pets allowed with extra charge.
