Villa La Capannina was born from the skilful renovation of an old stone farmhouse of peasant origin that has been turned into a charming and comfortable accommodation, perfectly integrated into the surrounding landscape and an ideal place to host families or groups of friends (sleeps 11, 300 sqm ). The villa, private and independent, is located in an easily accessible and elevated position from which you will have a beautiful view of the Valdichiana and the vineyard at the end of the garden.
Villa La Capannina is located in equidistant position both from the beautiful Etruscan town of Cortona and from the medieval Castiglion Fiorentino, two small Tuscan pearls rich in history, culture, architectural beauties and enogastronomic richness. From its central position the villa will also allow you to easily reach most of the beautiful Tuscan and Umbrian cities during pleasant day trips.
In front of the villa you have a beautiful garden enriched by paths and vine trees at disposal that lead you to the beautiful swimming pool (6x12 meters - fixed depth 1.65 meters - completely fenced - open from May 15th to October 1st) perfectly exposed to the sun during the day and complete with deckchairs and umbrellas to enjoy your moments of relaxation. Next to the pool there is a small stone building: it is a comfortable annex complete with shaded seating areas and guest toilet. The annex has a beautiful outdoor wooden pergola with barbecue, tables and chairs that make it the ideal place for al fresco dining.
Villa La Capannina has parking and is totally fenced and protected by an entrance gate.

Interior Description

Villa La Capannina has also been internally affected by a renovation aimed at maintaining some of the characteristics of the old peasant houses (terracotta floors, exposed wooden beams, stone stairs) but at the same time has allowed the introduction of modern elements which have made it extremely pleasant and tasteful.
From the large arched glass front post you will have direct access to a large and very bright living room complete with satellite TV, large sofa and stone fireplace. The lounge continues onto the dining room complete with table and chairs and then leads you into the kitchen. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with everything needed for cooking. The kitchen also has direct access to the garden, making it extremely convenient for your outdoor meals preparation. The ground floor is completed by a bathroom with shower and a large double bedroom characterized by direct access to the garden, as well as a convenient utility room for a laundry.
A beautiful stone staircase leads to the first floor dedicated exclusively to the sleeping area. Here in fact we find 4 double rooms, 1 single room and 3 bathrooms all complete with shower. The areas are all spacious and functional, furnished with care and attention to detail.
The villa can comfortably accommodate 11 people and you can request baby bed and high chair.
