Appartamento Loggetta is situated on the first floor of a characteristic building of Cortona; from its windows you can enjoy an incredible view on the main square of Cortona, the well known Piazza del Comune. The apartment (60 sqm) is composed of a comfortable living room complete with a sofa (convertible into a double sofa bed) and a dining table but also a fully equipped kitchenette provided with all you need to cook your favourite dishes. From the living room one enters the double bedroom (convertible into a twin bedroom) and the bathroom with shower.

Our visit to Cortona was one of the most memorable family vacations we have ever taken. The apartment met all of our needs (two adults and a child). It was comfortable and spacious for a one bedroom, with high cielings. The kitchen had the basics and was easy to use. The toilet has a separate door from the washroom. The beds were firm but comfortable, even the roll away bed was comfortable. The apartment is located on the second floor with all windows overlooking Piazza Del Republica and La Leggetta restaurant which made it fun for watching day/night life happen and feeling connected to the center of town. Just steps to wine tasting, grocery store, shopping, dining, museums etc. The owner greeted us when we arrived and helped us with our needs, communication with rentintuscany was excellent! The only reason I give it a 4 and not a 5 is because it can be somewhat loud at certain times due to its location, however if you close all of the windows and shutters at night it helps. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely return to this apartment! First photo attached is the view from the apartment and second photo is a view from the piazza, you can see the apartment location (orange building with green shutters that are open under La Loggetta sign).

The apt was perfectly situated in central Cortona overlooking the main piazza with restaurants, shops and markets all step away. The locale is in fact perfect for easy walking/hiking access to the rest of the town. Checkin was seamless and the hosts particularly Alice, were wonderful and were continuously in dialogue to accommodate my arrival and arranging transportation from the local train station. I would definitely recommend the apt and the town as a wonderful place to stay and explore Cortona and the wider region.
