Appartamento Maccari is located in the heart of the historic center of the ancient Etruscan town of Cortona, a place rich in history and charm, and one of the oldest medieval towns of Italy. Located just a few steps away from the squares and main streets of the town, yet in a secluded and quiet area, the apartment has been recently and carefully restored with the use of quality and recycled materials to keep the typical architecture of ancient Cortona houses intact but at the same time trying to bring a touch of modernity and comfort to make a perfect stay for its guests.
Interior Description
Appartamento Maccari has spacious and bright rooms (total 90 sqm) and can accommodate up to a maximum of 4 guests. You access the facility by a private entrance and a comfortable stone staircase leads to the first floor where you find the living area. This area, with stone floors and wooden ceiling beams, consists of a fully equipped kitchen complete with dining table and a living room with a sofa and chairs with Sat TV. On this floor you'll also have a comfortable bathroom with shower.
Through a beautiful wooden and iron staircase you access the second floor with the sleeping area, consisting of two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. Continuing up you will have at your disposal a large loft set up as a living room with a sofa.
The second floor and the loft are characterized by hardwood floors and light colors, which donate light and make the environment charming.
The apartment has wi fi free, and both air conditioning and heating (on consumption).
Pets are allowed on request. Laundry service on request.
No children under 8 accepted due to the staircase danger.

The apartment was exactly as pictured and advertised. It was a perfect location to access Cortona yet on a quiet street where we didn't hear any outside noise at night. The decor is beautiful and the apartment is well kept. Working with Rent in Tuscany was so helpful as they arranged a taxi to get us to/from the train station and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this apartment!
