Description
Casa Caterina is located in the heart of the historic center of the ancient Etruscan town of Cortona, a place rich in history and charm, and one of the oldest medieval towns of Italy. Located just a few steps away from the squares and main streets of the town, yet in a secluded and quiet area, the apartment has been recently and carefully restored with the use of quality and recycled materials to keep the typical architecture of ancient Cortona houses intact but at the same time trying to bring a touch of modernity and comfort to make it a perfect stay for its guests.
The apartment has free wi fi and both air conditioning and heating (on consumption). Pets are allowed with an extra charge.
Interior Description
Casa Caterina develops on 3 floors and it has spacious and bright rooms (total 100 sqm) and can accommodate up to a maximum of 6 guests (2 double bedrooms and 1 double sofa bed). A small yet lovely private garden complete with table and chairs will allow you to spend moments of relaxation by reading a book or enjoying your al fresco dinings. You access the building by 2 private entrances, one directly from the garden and the other from a main door with a comfortable stone staircase that leads to the first floor. The ground floor is composed of a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with Sat Tv and a double sofa bed and it allows you to access both the garden and the staircase which lead to the first floor. A bathroom with shower complete the floor. Going up the stairs you reach the first floor that consists of a lovely living area with a second fully equipped kitchen with dining table and chairs in front of the beautiful stone fireplace. On this level, characterized by stone floors, you will also have a comfortable bathroom with shower and Sat TV.
Va the last staircase you access the second floor with the sleeping area, consisting of one double bedroom, a twin bedroom (convertible into a double, if necessary) and a bathroom with shower.

I highly recommend this beautiful apartment. The location is perfect and close to one of the most historic streets. It is a quick walk to the centre and you can also park close by. The hosts have made great efforts to make the apartment authentic and comfortable and it is full of beautiful touches. The hosts were also very welcoming and helpful.

It was a wonderful time at Casa Caterina. Property was centrally located as we were visiting our daughter at school (UGA). All 3 of us were comfortable and Lorenza and Emiliano were generous and responsive hosts. Special recognition to Gloria who helped secure some transportation when we needed!

This little gem is in such a perfect location for the cute town of Cortona! The place was quaint and very clean. Had everything we needed, beds were comfortable, bathrooms were newer and super clean. The owner, Lorenza was super nice and so easy to work with. The little garden area is a super plus to the area, no one else seems to have a little yard like this. It's a very unique little place in a very unique little town. We can not wait to come back, already trying to figure.out our next trip!

La nostra esperienza di soggiorno presso Casa Caterina è stata eccellente. La casa, che si sviluppa su tre piani, è molto bella e rifinita.
Il primo piano è fresco e funzionale e abbiamo trascorso piacevoli ore nel piccolo giardino esterno.
Al secondo piano si trova un secondo angolo cottura e un salotto molto ben arredato e curato dove è possibile guardare la tv e dove si trova un secondo bagno. Infine il terzo piano, con due belle camere da letto e un terzo bagno. Le stanze sono le più calde della casa ma sono presenti ovunque condizionatori che ovviamente risolvono il problema.
I proprietari sono delle persone squisite e disponibili in ogni momento.
La posizione della casa ottima e centrale.
