Immersa nel cuore della Toscana, sul versante sud della collina dove sorge l'antica città etrusca di Cortona, Tenuta Pomona è un luogo dove vivere un'esperienza indimenticabile, in una struttura di indiscusso fascino e lusso. La villa gode di uno degli scorci più belli della collina cortonese, grazie alla sua posizione panoramica con vista mozzafiato sulla Val di Chiana e sullo skyline di Cortona. La villa è in una posizione privata e lontana dai rumori del traffico ed è calata in uno scenario dove il verde, le piante di olivo ed i tipici terrazzamenti di questo particolare cono collinare creano un luogo di rara bellezza e di forte impatto visivo.
La struttura è stata recentemente restaurata dai proprietari, che, nel rispetto della morfologia del territorio, hanno utilizzato materiali di grande pregio e gusto, creando un ambiente moderno e ricco di comfort che si integra completamente con il paesaggio circostante.
La struttura è composta da un corpo principale interamente in pietra, la Villa (165 mq), che può ospitare comodamente fino a 6 persone e da una Dependance (24 mq) anch'essa in pietra, dove possono soggiornare 2 ulteriori ospiti.
Tenuta Pomona è circondata da un bellissimo giardino all'interno del quale un grande terrazzamento in pietra ospita un tavolo da pranzo ed una comoda struttura con barbecue e forno a legna, per cucinare e gustare i vostri piatti all'aria aperta. All'interno del giardino avrete a vostra disposizione vari punti di relax dove poter leggere un libro o gustare uno dei famosi vini prodotti in Toscana.
Dal giardino salendo dei comodi scalini in pietra si arriva alla zona della piscina: perfettamente esposta al sole durante tutto l'arco della giornata e con una vista spettacolare sul paesaggio circostante, la piscina (8 x 4 metri; altezza minima 0,50 metri - massima 2,50 metri; con scala romana; aperta dal 01 maggio al 30 settembre) è completa di solarium con sdraio ed ombrelloni.
La villa dispone di parcheggio privato semicoperto. Connessione internet wi fi free. Stanza lavanderia. Animali non ammessi.

Villa Pomona è stata arredata con grande cura dai proprietari che hanno voluto regalare ai propri ospiti tutto il meglio dei più moderni comfort utilizzando materiali e finiture di grandissimo pregio, per creare degli ambienti lussuosi e di design, ricchi di luce e di vetrate da cui godere di scorci bellissimi sul paesaggio circostante. Villa Pomona può ospitare comodamente fino a 8 persone.
Il corpo principale, la Villa, si sviluppa su due piani connessi sia internamente da una una comoda scala sia esternamente da una bella scalinata in pietra.
A piano terra troviamo tutti gli ambienti della zona giorno: una bellissima cucina completamente attrezzata con tutto l'occorrente per cucinare e completa anche di una comoda isola; la sala da pranzo che comunica direttamente con la cucina per poi passare attraverso un disimpegno (dove troviamo anche una bagno con servizi) che vi condurrà in un confortevole soggiorno completo di TV Sat, divani e camino. Tutti gli ambienti a piano terra hanno accessi direttamente sull'esterno.
Salendo al primo piano troviamola zona notte: sarete colpiti dalla prima delle tre camere, una bellissima suite matrimoniale completa di chaise longue e di vasca in camera per passare dei momenti di completo relax. La camera è inoltre completa di lavabo a vista, stanza wc e doccia.
Anche le altre due camere sono espressione di gusto ed eleganza e sono entrambe provviste di letti matrimoniali. Completa la zona notte un secondo bagno provvisto di doccia.
A pochi metri dal corpo principale troviamo la dependance: una romantica camera matrimoniale provvista di divano e di bagno con doccia en suite

We had a wonderful time at Tenuta Pomona! The accommodations were perfect in an incredible beautiful setting! The house is simply beautiful as is the coach house and decorated perfectly. The views of Cortona are unmatched! Check in and check out were easy. The house is located in a great location with easy access to Cortona for dinner or Camucia restaurants as well. The access road to the house is very very narrow in certain spots and it would be great if they could widen that a bit. We had a larger vehicle and had to travel very slowly on that road! The only minor criticism would be to have body wash in the showers or bar soap.

Last June, we had the pleasure to stay for one week at Tenuta Pomona, an amazing place uniquely located on one of the hills around Cortona. A small winding road takes you up the hill and once you are there, you are rewarded with a breathtaking view on the Chiana valley and the city of Cortona. From the moment you enter the domain, you experience a feeling of tranquillity, beauty and freedom… The property itself consists of the main house and some annexes, everything renovated with great respect for the Tuscan style and with tasteful interiors.
We stayed there with friends, 3 couples in total, each of us having our own private space with a large bedroom and an impeccable bathroom. We enjoyed cooking together in the nice and precious kitchen, foreseen of everything we needed. But most of the time we spent outside, in the Mediterranean garden flanked by large terraces on different levels, creating ample opportunities to sit and relax, eat outside, have a nice swim and share unforgettable moments together. We had great fun making our own pizza’s in the oven outside, and at night we enjoyed the stars and the lights in the valley further down. The perfume of the abundant rosemary, the Tuscan yasmines, and the lime trees completed the sensation of living in paradise. The domain further extends into a large olive grove, surrounding the house and giving it the charming style of a Tuscan country house. The owners make there own olive oil ‘Oro di Corito’ which tastes deliciously.
If you want some more liveliness, you can go to Cortona, only a 10min drive away, where you can find some nice restaurants, shops and coffee bars. We also visited the cities of Firenze, Assisi and Siena, which were only 1-2 hours drive away. At the end of the day, we were always grateful to come back ‘home’ at Tenuta Pomona, enjoying its serenity and beautiful scenery. Without exaggeration, we can say that this was one of our most relaxing and impressive vacation stays we ever had.

From the moment you step onto the property, you are enveloped by an aura of unparalleled beauty and tranquility. The house itself is a masterpiece of design and craftsmanship, with every detail meticulously curated to create an atmosphere of refined elegance. The property management company has gone above and beyond to ensure that the level of maintenance and cleanliness surpasses even the most discerning expectations.
Inside, the house is a haven of comfort and convenience. Every room is a testament to the owners' impeccable taste and attention to detail. The bedrooms are sanctuaries of relaxation, with plush bedding and ample space to unwind. The common areas are inviting and intimate, perfect for gathering with loved ones and creating unforgettable memories.
But it is the great outdoors that truly sets Tenuta Pomona apart. Step outside and you are greeted by a Tuscan paradise. The manicured gardens, adorned with fragrant rosemary bushes and stately cypress trees, beckon you to explore. The outdoor dining area, complete with a rustic Tuscan grill and oven, is an invitation to indulge in the flavors of the region. And the pool, oh the pool! It is a shimmering oasis, a perfect spot to while away the hours under the Tuscan sun... or moon.
Yet, it is the view that will take your breath away. From every corner of the property, you are treated to a panoramic vista of Cortona on the next hill and the Camucia valley, a tapestry of green that stretches as far as the eye can see, and tge eventual train piercing through its fields. It is a sight that will etch itself into your memory, a reminder of the sheer beauty that exists in this world.
I must extend my heartfelt gratitude to Francesca, Angela, and Gianluca, whose dedication and warmth made our stay at Tenuta Pomona an effortless joy. Their commitment to ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and cared for is a testament to the love and passion they have for this incredible property.

The place is really excellent, spatious and very well maintained with high quality standards. The interior is very tastful decorated and gives you the relaxing atmosphere you need for a holiday.
THere is airco everywhere, bathrooms are modern and perfect.
The garden has many different places to enjoy, from a bar table for apero time, a large 10 seat dining area and 2 loung coach places, all with excellent views on the city of Cortona and the valley.
The team from Rent in Tuscany is very welling to help you with any request you might have.

A delightful property. Nice and remote with no near neighbours but a short 10 minute drive to Cortona for evening meals. Access road is very narrow but picturesque through olive groves.
Accommodation is fantastic. Lovely comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen, really good interior design with muted colours and simple finishes but very well executed.
Back up from the Rent in Tuscany Team was excellent. Any problem and the response was very quick. Fantastic service!

We spent 2 weeks at Tenuta Pomona and it was wonderful. The views from the home are extraordinary and the home has many wonderful touches such as ideal outdoor seating areas and a designer kitchen, beautiful bathrooms, a working pizza oven and pool.

Our stay at Tenuta Pomona was fantastic. The tastefully renovated villa with its fully equipped kitchen, cosy sitting place and spacious bed and bathrooms had everything to make us fully relax. The beautiful weather allowed us to enjoy the refreshing swimming pool and the different terraces, all of them with a magnificent view of Cortona, the Tenuta Pomona olive groves and the valley below. Cortona and its surroundings have a few very good restaurants where we enjoyed some great pure Italian food. In short, our Italian stay was absolutely fantastic.

Tenuta Pomona is an absolutely stunning villa set in the hills opposite Cortona. With most rentals/hotels the photos make the place, occasionally, look better than it is. That is NOT the case here...the photos, although stunning, do not do this amazing property justice. The setting is idyllic, the property is stunning, the outdoor eating/lounging areas beautiful and the pool is an oasis! Kirsten, Alice, Gianluca, Michele were a pleasure to deal with and responded to every question in a timely fashion. I plan on returning to this area and they are the only people I’ll deal with. I will recommend them to all my friends. If you’re looking for the perfect home base to explore Tuscany and Umbria, this is the place!

We were looking for a place to celebrate some big birthdays with a complicated group. 10 people across three generations, including 2 babies, a toddler and then all the way up to 72-years old. Lots of different wishes and demands to contend with. Tenuta Pomona did not disappoint. It was the perfect place for the occasion and meeting our needs. Very well appointed and equipped, with ample and varied spaces for people to relax in different ways. Four different seating areas outside, all with lovely views. The wonderful fireplace indoors did very well when it was cold and rainy with plenty of firewood in store. Comfortable rooms and a great family kitchen where we spent much time. The separate cottage served well as a space for peace and quiet. Just two shortcomings we experienced: the dining table and chairs should be able to seat 8 (not 6), and the absence of proper kitchen knives proved cumbersome. Both essential for foodies like us.
Federica and her team were efficient in responding to booking requests and flexible in our (odd) timing. They also provided excellent service in providing babycots/chairs and delivering our rental bikes. All in all we had a fantastic time.

The house is wonderful, very nicely decorated and well equipped. It is isolated in a quiet area at the end of a road with a magnificent view on the city of Cortone and the valley. We were there in April and the weather was not great but we could imagine how nice the house must be in the summer with the swimming pool. One small critic: the house was very cold inside at night (14*C) and the heat was charged 50 euros/day. We nevertheless recommend the house warmly ! Pierre

Wir hatten eine wirklich sehr schöne Woche in einer traumhaften Unterkunft. Das Wetter war leider etwas ungemütlich, aber das Haus bietet ausreichend Platz, so dass Regen kein großes Problem darstellt. Bei einer Belegung mit vier Paaren sollte erwähnt werden, dass nur drei Badezimmer vorhanden sind. Das Vierte ist lediglich ein Gäste WC ohne Dusche. Die Umgebung um das Haus ist ein Traum, der Blick direkt auf Cortona sagenhaft. Man kann direkt vom Haus aus sehr schöne Wanderungen unternehmen. Auch Unternehmungen im Umland sind in kurzer Fahrentfernung machbar. Alles in allem waren wir rundum zufrieden mit der Unterkunft und Lage und würden jederzeit wiederkommen
