Villa Grevigiana

Villa Grevigiana is located in a small hamlet composed of three residential units with ancient origins. Throughout its thousand-year history, it has been home to prominent local figures; in fact, it was once owned and inhabited by Marsilio Ficino (1433–1499), the philosopher, humanist, astrologer, and personal tutor to the Medici family. Today, thanks to a meticulous and refined restoration that has preserved the original structure, the property serves as an elegant and luxurious residence for holidays in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. The villa offers enchanting views over green hills and olive groves, framed in the distance by an expansive forest—largely accessible on foot. It is enhanced by a collection of antique furniture and fine decorative pieces that lend the interiors a uniquely distinguished character. Outside, a peaceful and well-kept park surrounds the property, featuring wide lawns, a large swimming pool, and various equipped outdoor areas. A private cypress-lined driveway leads to the covered parking area and, from there, to the main villa, the annexes, and the pool (measuring 8 × 16 m, with depths ranging from 1.20 m to 2.40 m). Around each building, within the vast and carefully maintained grounds—brightened by abundant flowering plants—there are outdoor leisure spaces furnished with seating, tables, and armchairs: in the large stone-paved courtyard adorned with fragrant lemon trees, and in the rear patio, which features a masonry structure with a barbecue and wood-fired oven. The main villa is arranged over two floors. COTTAGE:
Located about 15 meters from the main villa, it is spread over two levels. The entrance on the ground floor opens into the living area with a lounge and dining table; from here, you can access a spacious kitchen with direct access to the veranda, the laundry room, and a bathroom with shower. The internal staircase leads to the first floor, where the sleeping area is arranged with three double bedrooms served by two bathrooms with showers and one with a bathtub.

ANNEX:
Approximately 40 meters from the main villa, the ground floor features an open-plan space with a lounge, dining area, and kitchenette, a twin bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with shower, and a laundry room. The upper floor is completed by a double bedroom with a terrace overlooking the park and a bathroom with shower.
