Die Wohnung Il Teatro befindet sich im Herzen der Altstadt Cortonas, mit Blick auf einen der schönsten Plätze der Stadt, Piazza Signorelli, der mit seinem schönen Theater und Museum Maec, dem Ort eine einzigartige und faszinierende Atmosphäre verleiht.
Komfortabel dank seiner zentralen Lage, befindet sich die Wohnung im ersten Stock eines alten Gebäudes, welches Ihnen ermöglichen wird, alle Annehmlichkeiten der Stadt zu erleben und zur gleichen Zeit einen abgelegenen und ruhigen Ort zum Entspannen zu haben.

Die Wohnung Il Teatro behält den klassisch toskanischen Stil bei dank der Bewahrung und Wiederherstellung der alten Terrakotta-Böden und Decken mit sichtbaren Holzbalken, in Kombination mit Möbeln von großem Wert und eine akribische Stilverarbeitung.
Die Besitzer haben besonderen Wert darauf gelegt, die Wohnung schön und komfortabel, stilvoll und bequem für ihre Gäste zu gestalten.
Die Wohnung ist über eine Steintreppe erreichbar, die Sie zu Ihrer Unterkunft führt, Wohnzimmer mit Sofa (wenn nötig in Schlafsofa umwandelbar) und Küche, voll ausgestattet und komplett mit Esstisch. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über eine Klimaanlage und Sat-TV.
Das Schlafzimmer ist geräumig und komfortabel mit Doppelbett. Das Bad hat eine Dusche.

We checked in to a differant apt. since Teatro had some plumbing issues.
Really enjoyed the location overlooking the Piazza Republica. The apt. was beautiful and clean. There were no cleansing products available however. After we checked in we supplied dish soap, hand soap and shampoo ,toilet paper. We thought it would be a good idea to have at least the first days suppplies of these available. One other hint is to provide apt. information in multiple languages. Our Italian was limited so the QR code was not of use to us. That said, a paper translation was available at the office.
The women and Allan were great to work with on this trip. They provided outstanding service and thankfully saved our bacon one night, when we locked ourselves out of the apt.

We had a lovely time in Cortona made even better with our Airbnb stay. The apartment was in a fantastic location right beside the main square and easy steps to great restaurants. The apartment was clean and fully equipped! We would highly recommend this spot!

The apartment is very lovely with beautiful bedding and linens, kitchen is small but well equipped . Located in the heart of Cortona we had a wonderful time and really appreciated Kirsten the apartment manager she was so helpful and easy to reach and speak with. I would highly recommend this property.

Kirsten was an absolutely fantastic host. From our initial meeting, where she answered all my questions and explained everything to me, to helping me print out and locate train tickets I needed to travel between countries, to going out of her way to meet me for breakfast when the cafe I had a voucher for was closed one morning. All three ladies at Rentintuscany are fantastic, and the apartment was EXACTLY as pictured, if not more charming and cozy. I loved having my own kitchen, as I always cook at home, and being here during the winter season, many of my favourite restaurants were closed for the season. However, there is a fresh produce market every morning almost directly below, and a supermarket within a minute's walking distance, making it very ideal. Having been to Cortona before, I was so excited to be right in the heart of the town. You even have a beautiful view onto piazza Signorelli and its namesake theatre as well. The whole town is safe, and this apartment was no exception. The only drawback, though no one's fault, is how much sound echoes and bounces off the stone walls of the town, making it a little loud (as a light sleeper) to fall asleep at times (thank goodness for earplugs!). I would/will stay here again next time I visit Cortona, and I cannot thank Kirsten and the other ladies at Rentintuscany enough. Grazie per tutto!!
