La Montana is a typical stone house immersed among green hills that surround the city of Cortona, famous Etruscan and medieval town, a few kilometres far away. La Montana is the perfect place to spend relaxing holidays, enjoying the calm and the beauty this area has to offer. The villa is situated in a perfect location for those who are looking for a quiet and secluded place, and for those who want to easily reach the city of Cortona in a few minutes.
The villa can host up to six guests and has a wide garden that surrounds the house. There is a BBQ area with a veranda equipped with dining table, ideal for al fresco dining. Above the BBQ area lies the beautiful private swimming pool (fenced and protected by an entrance gate (10x5 meters, maximum depth 2,45 mt), complete with deckchairs and sun umbrellas, under which you can spend the hottest days relaxing. By the pool there is a gazebo equipped with dining table, perfect for enjoying your evenings under the moonlight, or refreshing under the shadow during the hottest days. From the pool area you can enjoy a panoramic view of the hills and the valley.
La Montana has private parking and a laundry room with washer, iron and ironing board.
Innenbeschreibung
The villa is composed of two levels connected by an internal stairway. The main entrance leads into an open space living room, furnished in typical Tuscan style, provided with a big dining table, TV, fireplace, a sofa and two armchairs. Going on, you will find a spacious fully equipped kitchen. Next to the kitchen there is a bathroom with shower. From the living room you access the first floor, through an internal stairway, where you will find a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with shower, a bedroom with two single beds, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. From the first floor you have access to the outdoor veranda, from which you can admire breathtaking views of the surrounding hills.
La Montana disposes of Wi-Fi free connection, air conditioning and mosquito nets. Pets allowed on request.

Absolutely Magical Tuscan Experience – A Dream Come True!
I had no idea what to expect when my family and I booked a house in Tuscany for the week, but what we experienced far exceeded anything we could’ve imagined. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality by the family who owns the property. They gave us a lovely tour and even welcomed us with a homemade tart — absolutely delicious!
The house itself was a dream. A classic Tuscan home in pristine condition — truly spotless, with every amenity you could need. We felt comfortable and cared for the entire time. One of the highlights was the stunning porch table overlooking the mountains and Lake Trasimeno — an unforgettable view that took our breath away every morning and evening.
The property also included a pool and a foosball table, which added so much fun for the whole family. And then there was Giada. She offered to cook a meal for us one night, and I’m so glad we said yes. From appetizers to dessert, she served a 100% authentic Italian meal that was one of the best meals we’ve ever had — rich in flavor, heart, and tradition.
Our stay also included a wine tasting and a guided tour of Cortona. The town was beautiful, charming, and full of history. The wine tasting was equally unforgettable. The owner and staff sat with us and walked us through the wines, the regions, and even took the time to share stories and casual conversation. We left with a greater appreciation for Tuscan wine and a few bottles to take home!
This week was truly an incredible experience. Every detail — the home, the people, the food, the views, the town, the wine — was perfection. If I could give it more than five stars, I would. Exceptional week at Villa Montana. The Villa was very cozy and comfortable. The view was spectacular and Giada ( caretaker) did an amazing job taking care of all our needs. We enjoyed our time in Cortona and te surrounding villages.

La Montana was a beautiful setting for our family to get together. It was also very convenient for day trips around Tuscany. The facilities were clean and we appreciates the welcome items. Family/Owners were so helpful and courteous. Highly recommend taking them up on their offer for cooking a meal. It was delicious!
