Casa Minerva is located in the heart of the historic center of Cortona, an ancient Etruscan town internationally known for its historical-architectural beauties and millenary history.
Minerva is a unique accommodation, a mix between a country villa and an apartment, with features and details of rare beauty that give it an extraordinary charm and personality. It has been recently renovated using a skilful mix of techniques that have combined the traditional materials of the Tuscan architecture with contemporary ideas and materials, creating environments rich in every comfort with high-level finishes and large spaces where you can spend moments of relaxation and discovery of the Tuscan lifestyle. It can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people (2 double bedrooms and 1 double sofa bed).
Casa Minerva is also characterized by an Italian garden which devolps into terraces placed on several levels. The lower level coincides with the entrance into the living room and kitchen and has a barbecue and dining area where you can enjoy your alfresco dishes. Going up to the upper level of the garden, a beautiful stone fountain is used as swimming pool (length 3.50 meters - width 1.40 meters - fixed height 80 cm - open from April to November) characterized by hydromassage jets and fountains. Deck chairs and sun beds complete the garden.

Interior Description

The interiors of Casa Minerva (170 sqm) are spacious and furnished in a refined and modern way, thus creating pleasant environments where you can enjoy a holiday experience that is difficult to forget. The house has two entrances (one at the back from the garden and one at the front from the alley) and is spread over two levels.
On the ground floor you will have at your disposal a large open space living area characterized by an ancient stone fireplace, complete with side seats and with a sofa in front. Then we find the dining table with chairs and a modern kitchen complete with everything you need to cook your dishes. In this area we also find an ancient pietra serena washbasin which leads you to a second and bright living room featuring sofas and complete with Smart TV. Also on the ground floor we find the first of the two bedrooms: a large double bedroom with very high ceilings complete with private bathroom with shower and wardrobe.
From the living room a beautiful stone staircase leads to the upper floor where we find the second double bedroom on the right: also large and with very high ceilings, it is completed with a private bathroom with shower and wardrobe. On the other hand,To the left of the staircase, there is a lovely mezzanine with a dual function: it is a small living room study which,can be converted into a third double bed with the sofa bed, . The upper floor is completed by a laundry room with sink, washing machine / dryer, iron and ironing board.
Casa Minerva has air conditioning (to pay upon consumption ) in all bedrooms and in the living room and free wi fi internet connection. Baby bed on request. Pets are not allowed.
