Villa Machiavelli

In the heart of the Chianti Classico hills, in Tuscany, between Siena and Florence, in a large private estate with its meadows, an olive grove and the forest, is located villa Machiavelli that overlooks a beautiful valley with 360' view; from Siena to San Gimignano, the view sweeps between rolling hills of vineyards, cultivated fields, woods and villages and it is framed by mountains on the horizon. The villa appears outside as a rural house, while inside the architecture is modern and elegant with large windows, high ceilings and open spaces. Born as the second home of a family living in Rome, the villa was built in the late 60s in the heart of the "Chianti Classico", inside a large private estate. A long avenue of cypresses leads to the property, where areas of lawn shaded by large oaks, strawberry trees, junipers and cypresses join bushes of lavender, rosemary and roses. A spectacular heated salt water pool (15 x 44 feet / 4.5 x 13.5 meters) is located on an embankment a few steps from the living room, equipped with umbrellas and 8 sun beds. The pool is also equipped with shower, with a fence and self-locking gates for children safety. The pool can be heated on request. The Villa has 3 double bedrooms, 1 twin and 1 single bedroom, 5 bathrooms, and can comfortably accommodate 9 adults plus 2 children in cribs. The top floor is reserved for owners, who do not live on site. The large windows give light to the rooms, and the antique furniture blends with custom design pieces, creates a cozy space. The entrance door leads to an open-space with high ceilings beams and terracotta floors. The living and dining room with adjoining kitchen are on level slightly offset. There is a toilet near the input. An open corridor, dividing the living and the dining area, leads to the bedrooms on the ground floor and upstairs. There is a shaded pergola in front of the dining room equipped for outdoor meals and an additional terrace with a shaded living room. A second space on the opposite side, with a porch for outdoor dining, has a fireplace with barbecue grill and a picturesque table with a giant wheel. There is also a long table for ten people shaded by a pergola covered with American vines and a large hammock. In the property there are also playground areas for children and adults as ping-pong table, a soccer field and a small playground with swings, slide, playhouse, climbing wall and a square with sand.
