Appartamento La Contessa is located in the heart of the historic center of Cortona, an ancient Etruscan hamlet rich in history and charm and ideal place to fully enjoy the sweet Tuscan lifestyle yet strategical starting point to discover the most beautiful Tuscan and Umbrian towns during pleasant day trips.
We are on the first floor of a beautiful ancient building situated in a panoramic position from which you can enjoy a stunning view overlooking the valley and the town yet in a central area to enjoy the lively historic centre having all services at your fingertips.
Our experience designers can create tailor-made routes and itineraries open air, private guided visits and food and wine tastings, guided bike tours and more directly from the apartment.

Interior Description

The apartment can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people, is very spacious (100 square meters) and enjoys a splendid natural light thanks to the large windows overlooking the valley and a skilful renovation that has managed to combine the great Tuscan traditions with a modern style based on light colors and furnishings with an undisputed charm.
On entering the apartment we find a small corridor that accompanies you to the various rooms of the house. The first area develops in the living room, consisting of a relaxation area with sofa, satellite TV and dining table, a modern and comfortable kitchen that competes with everything needed to prepare your favorite dishes and a spacious and bright double bedroom with beautiful view over the valley.
Here we also find a bathroom complete with multifunction shower equipped with hydromassage, chromotherapy and hammam.
On the right side of the hallway, we also find a closet used as laundry area and complete with washing machine, dryer and iron and ironing board. Through a few stone steps you access the second bedroom which is also very spacious and characterized by a brick vault that separates the double bed from the bathroom, also complete with large shower and wardrobe.
All the rooms of the Apartment La Contessa have been designed to make the guests' stay as comfortable as possible, giving each room an elegant and refined touch, preserving materials such as the ancient terracotta floors and exposed wooden beams mixed with modern and prestigious materials which have contributed in making the apartment unique.
Apartment La Contessa has air conditioning and heating (payable according to consumption) in the bedroom and the living room on the ground floor and free Wi- Fi internet connection. Pets allowed with extra charge.
